Emma's Baptism Day

On January 21, 2012 Emma took the big step of being baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Our church believes that at age 8 a child can be accountable for their own choices, and they may make the choice to follow our brother Jesus Christ into the waters of baptism.
It was a beautiful day & once again we were blessed to have many family members make the trip to be here for this very important day. Emma's father was able to baptize her & confirm her a member of the Church. It was really heartwarming to see these 2 bond over such a sacred ordinance. All we heard for weeks was "I'm going to be baptized! I'm going to be baptized!" I think we all feared that the big day would never get here! We are so proud of you & the choices you've made, Emma! What a good example you've been for your younger brothers. We love you!

It is so great to all be there together to celebrate special days with our family.
